The Bonaparte Lounge belongs to The Birdhouse this Saturday. The Bay Area label and producer collective began as a mentorship program for developing artists and has since grown into one of the region’s more interesting independent house imprints, with releases backed by Insomniac, Toolroom, Don Diablo and Jamie Jones. Four of their artists take the room for the night.

In the main room, Nate Rioz keeps the Main Room moving through open format, hip hop and Top 40 until close.

Following Downtown First Thursdays, Hawthorn opens its doors for the July edition of Together — our monthly celebration of San Francisco’s music and arts community, spread across two rooms and eight artists.

Main Room (House): JLittle, Tara, Dean Samaras, Jake Vance, Nomi, Taking Back Sundance

Bonaparte Room (Hard Groove | Techno): Alex Goodcat, Katya, Nile

Expect House, Techno, and everything in between — all on Hawthorn’s world-class Void Sound System, in the intimate underground setting that’s become home base for the city’s First Thursday crowd.

Hypnøtiq takes the Bonaparte Lounge for the night, four artists deep on tech house and afrohouse. Afrohouse has become one of the most compelling sounds in dance music, built on rolling percussion and a low end that sits deep in the body, and the Bonaparte is exactly the size of room it was made for.

SLIC3R keeps the Main Room moving through open format, hip hop and Top 40 until close.
